1.      These Terms

What the terms cover –These are the terms and conditions on which we “Butterworths Bridal” supply products to you “the customer”. These terms are governed by English law under UK jurisdiction. The terms and conditions can also be found on our website www.butterworthsbridal.co.uk.
Why you should readPlease read these terms carefully before you place an order with us as these terms create a legally binding contract with you.

2.      Our Contact with You

Your order –Our contract becomes legally binding upon payment of your 50% deposit.
Unavailable Orders –If your order is found to be discontinued, unavailable or any other reason that would make it impossible to order, then you will be entitled to your money back, we will not be held liable for breach of contract and compensation will not be given.
Rights –This contract is between us and the customer responsible for signing. No third party will be involved.
Deposits –All deposits taken are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to any other person or item. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3.      GDPR

According to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we require your consent to store your personal data. It is in our legitimate interest to do so, to enable us to be able to communicate with you. All customer details will be safely stored and not passed onto any third-party companies.

4.      Providing the Products

Time scales –As dresses are made to order, unless agreed in writing, all time scales are estimated and we will not be held accountable for any overdue orders.
Alterations –Alterations are not included in the price of any gown purchase and therefore will be at an additional cost provided by the seamstress and dependent on alterations needed. All alterations must be booked in a minimum of 4-8 weeks before the date of the wedding, we will not be held accountable for any unfinished alterations due to late or unattended appointments by the customer. All alterations are done by an independent seamstress with alterations being conducted offsite.

5.      Product description and Measurements

Accuracy –After measurements have been taken, we will not be held responsible for any changes. This includes, but is not exclusive to weight loss/gain and pregnancy. If the customer has changed in measurements it will be down to them to inform us of this change so adjustments to the order can be made. This may have an additional charge. If the customer is unhappy with the sizes taken, they must notify us at the time of purchase and we will not be held responsible for any discrepancy after this time. If the customer wants to delay measuring, it will be down to them to make sure they have been taken within enough time for the products to be ordered and delivered.
Under garments –We are not responsible for any issues related with shoes or undergarments that may impact the structure or length of the product.
Product pictures –Product pictures are for illustrative uses only and may vary slightly from the product. We cannot guarantee the device display accurately depicts the item.
Guidance –We provide appointment guidance without liability. We will not be held liable for any loss or damage that may occur during or after the marriage ceremony. Any claims will be forensically investigated at our expense.

6.      Price and Payments

Ownership –Is yours after full payment is received.
On product arrival –We will ask you to check the product within 6 weeks of the product arriving in store. Outstanding balance is then due and product signed for and collected.
Liability during storage –In the unlikely event the customers items are lost or damaged, due to fire, flood or theft whilst in storage we shall take responsibility and reimburse the retail cost of the product.
Abandoned products –After three months of non-paid storage fee, the product will be classed as abandoned at which case the product is no longer owned by the customer. 

7.      Product issues

Third party services –We are not responsible for any issues related to third party services. Recommended or not recommended by us.

8.      Cancellations

Please make sure all purchases are suitable for your requirements prior to paying the deposit. Cancellations are not accepted in any circumstance once the customer has paid the non-refundable deposit. Returned items that are not suitable or do not fit are none refundable or replaceable. Failure to complete full payment is a breach of this contract and we reserve our rights in this respect. Product orders cancelled after the order has been placed result in immediate full product payment, thus we highly recommended insurance is taken for unforeseen circumstances.
